From how it all began, to where it is now…
The story began more than 50 years ago, when Georges France was living in Melbourne. With a camera in hand, George found joy in taking photographs of couples and families in cafes and restaurants. His entrepreneurial spirit was the impetus for transforming this joy into a lifelong career…George’s love of photography and bringing people together has resulted in a lifelong career and successful business capturing the milestone moments in people’s lives.
Supported by fellow directors, Wendy Field and Valerie Mewha envisaged the company expanding and diversifying to meet a range of societal desires for baby and family photos and the growing need for professional services within the graduation sphere.
Today, that business has grown and evolved into The GFP Group, a leading provider of Graduation and Event Services, with a reputation for professionalism, innovation and quality. With operations stretching across Australia, GFP partners with University clients to provide positive graduation experiences and create long lasting memories for thousands of Graduates and their families each year.
The GFP Group has built a solid foundation of knowledge, capability, enthusiasm and a talented team that provides the platform for great service. George continues to work with the company, sitting on the Board with Chairman Jeff Allen, a Principal from the Financial Services Company, Pitcher Partners and Bruce Wilson, Managing Director at HCPro. The day to day running of the company rests with General Manager, Errin Henderson, who together with a dedicated team of National and State Managers operates the successful delivery of graduation services throughout Australia.
